Definition. The control set that keeps agentic workflows from producing high-volume low-quality output that poisons pipeline data and sender reputation: data-quality gates (act only on verified, enriched records), human-in-the-loop thresholds, escalation paths, and audit logging. Governance and data quality are the difference between a workflow that scales and one abandoned after POC.
